So ive been giving a challenge by one of my college buddies of mine, he says if i can crack a password protected pdf which he claims to be at the moment uncrackable I can have all the beers and chicks that he will pay for. So I agreed, so my question is, does anyone know what language the adobe reader was written in, I believe its C but im not quite sure, because I was planning to reverse engineer the document and just removed the password and reconstruct the document or im a missing something? Or is thier a tool out thier that I can use to get the password. the pdf is supposidly some government level encryption that is being used, but I cannot verify that personally. Whats my best options.
